THANKS Guys/Girls.....

what a huge weekend.. It was a fantastic Launch
took a lot of prep work, and it was hard to get the launch into the CASA flight windows, but we got there in the end..

here's a few pictures, waiting to get copies from the SLR camera, which will have high quality pictures on it, and I'll post up those when I get them
but heres a bit of the high lights of the weekend

I'd like to say a huge thanks the MickG, he's help was invaluable, and without a shadow of doubt, without mick here I don't think the launch would have happened as good as it did!
I'd also Like to thank Michael Baker (DragonFlight) for extensive support he has given me over the past few weeks, and the excellent leadership and calm voice over the weekend.

I'll Thank My family, for there great support over the last few weeks, and to my beautiful Partner Nadia (behind every crazy rocket guy theres a great woman)

there are many others I'd like to thank, which I will do soon in a formal post.

But I will say now, A huge "Thank You" to the ARA Crew (Phil/Nat, Maurice, Geoff, Sean, Mick, and all the others) for showing great support to Advanced Rocketry Queensland, and to me personally

I am proud to be an ARA L3 member!!! blgrin

on with some pics........

The Terra Australis Team

Left to Right; John (Choked Flow Project), Graeme and Maree Stonehouse (Mum and Dad), Yours truly (Sir L3), My beautiful Partner Nadia Cowcher (true love of my life), Michael Baker(one of my best and supportive friends), and the one and only MickG

Usual suspects, second on the right is Ben, my partner in crime with the club.

The definition of happiness!!!  13

How sweet it is...... blwink

Great to see the sheer joy on all faces...how much fun is rocketry heh!!!
And relief...achieving L3...only by doing it do you realise that its 90% logistics and 10% build.

EMiR can we have some more details on the rocket design.
Its 4" diam right?
What about lengths, weights, motor, chutes, electronics etc.

16kft ++ ...thats pretty impressive!
And did i read that raven data right....a mach busting flight...damm I'm envious!
