133 days until Sept long weekend plenty of time for a rocket build Grin
Not a chance. Still gotta buy: motor cases, moto retention and electronics. And I'm not launching it on anything less than a K550.

Oh yeah, building it - I'm already eye'ing off the pistons and electronics bay. But I'll wait 'til the rest of the stuff arrives. Going to buy an aeropack for it next Wed. Not sure about building it for a rail or rod. Since PARC does not have a rail and I don't want to build another one for it, I might go with the rod Sad

And who says thats me in the photo? Could just be something I found on the net WinkGrin

yeah, for sure. I also got the thicker G10 fin upgrade. This thing is being built to take a 75/7680 load (M1850 (one never knows what the future might bring)).

Go for the rail by the end of the year rails should be common at Parc, had problems with the rods in the wind with a 1/4 scale patriot.

rod whip something I'd rather live without. Ok, so I'll put big rail buttons on it then. But I hope that PARC gets a pad that can launch it.

Hiya Paul,

contruction is going slowly. I'm thinking I stuffed up the electronics bay because the instructions are more about a redundant pyro system rather than dual deploy - so I think one of the alt bays is going to be back to front. No biggy I guess. The tubes are glassed but not finished. Nose is sanded. Fins need to be beveled. Heaps to do yet.
