Hey guys
I'm thinking I may end up as more of a photographer this time around, since I got in too late for many motors. There are still a few for sale, but not many that suit my casing (29-40/120, the common one, and no others).
Does anyone know of a way of getting casings suitable to the available motors at short notice/LMS motors in such a way that they'll arrive before Dowerin?
Any casings available that people are selling second hand/are club casings available to borrow would be 29-120, 29-180, 38-360 (to suit the motors available). Is there anything like that around? (I'd rather not borrow anyone's personal casings, since that's a lot of unnecessary stress for that person...)

Basically, any ideas on how to get level 1 and F/G flying at short notice, given that only one motor is still for sale that works in my casing. (G138T)

Thanks

Rocketmad: Thanks for the offer... If you're selling the motors (esp. G64) that would be awesome... And thanks for the casing offer hotspot... But if you have a use planned for the motors already, don't feel like you have to! But if you are selling them, I'd certainly take a few off your hands (Will bring the money to Dowerin with me). And I'd love to borrow a casing, but JUST in case I kill it, I'll try use my casing for what I can. Don't want to ruin anyone's launch!

I'll pass on the J90 until I have a L2. Haha. Sounds fun though.

I just went ahead and ordered a 29-240 and 38-360, since they cover most of the motors I'd want to use. Ordered from an Australian vendor, so with any luck they'll be here in a week. If not, no real problem, I'll just use them in October. If there are any motors left after Dowerin =P

In other news, my membership card just arrived, so I can head into Stanbridges and see if they have anything left.

Well. I just ordered a lot more motors than I have before. Hehehe. Shame my rocksim is dead, so I hope I can get it working soon.

Well, I now have 12 composite motors from E to I impulse, and some black powder ones. So plenty to launch.
What time is good to arrive on Saturday to not miss too much? Not sure if I'll make it Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

On a less positive note, my payment for my casings was confirmed 6 days ago, and according to the shipping information they haven't actually looked at it since then. Maybe they ran into problems, but I won't have casings for 2 of my reloads, so I may need to borrow a 38-360. Unless they have shipped but not updated the info yet... I hope.

However I manage it though, I have OpenRocket working and all of my motors have been matched up with rockets with simulations. So nearly good to fly, just need to pack!

Questions: Answered.  dance
This is what to launch:
-Various black powder
-E15 (in the smaller rockets there, not sure which)
- 2* F22
-F40
-F52
-G64
-G53
-G138
-G80
-H170
-I218
In these:

Shame I haven't built anything since 2009. Should have thought of that. I'll be literally blowing cobwebs out of some of these.
