An insurance first for Australia will commence this weekend with the ARA extending coverage to TRA members and other non ARA clubs that wish to fly at the Canberra rocketry groups first HPR launch.

This is made possible because the ARA insurance policy has special event coverage.

What an excellent policy.   icon_thumleft Find it gobsmacking  dizshocked that it appears no one else has this event insurance which allows anyone regardless of their affiliation or organisation to fly their rockets. Well done ARA for putting the hobby first!  icon_salut

It has come to light that it appears others may also have this event insurance.   confused Can someone please explain to me why there appears to be other groups forcing their will onto others claiming they must be a member of their group to fly at their special events?

An explanation from anyone would be appreciated in regards to this?  dizundecided

You would need to ask other groups about that

But you would most likely get a BS anwser depending on the group
