Just not something I would do, but I can't really talk, my booster stages use fluro pink marking tape to aid location in long grass.
kinda handy actually as it lays across anything, grass, trees, water.....

A lighter undercoat will bring out the colour.
looks like you have a pale grey or something there.
Might I suggest a clean white of some kind?

the pale grey is the primer/filler I used. When the paint was just sprayed it was perfect see first painted tube but as it dried it got lighter and lighter. Never mind I am sure after a few flights it will need a new paint job Grin

Lol, I use dayglo often, and it fades.
Also reacts to heat badly, but helps as a bit of a diagnostic when things go wrong.
