the tape left marks on the finshed aluminum paint  and the yellow paint ran and would not cover properly and it looks like a 5 yearold painted it so i decided to wait for the yellow to dry tomorrow and rub it back and try again. in the mean time i started to paint the vraptor i used a different shade of green to wolfiesgurl's 9dont want them to be identicle)  which came up pretty good so i painted the nose cone white and the paint went all gluggy as it came out the can so now i have to rub that back and do it again. so now the V8 super cars are on and i am peed off with painting i think i am going to sit back sink some brews and watch cars go round and around.

paint job looking good Dazza. Personally I hate using tape over painted surfaces however I have had success with the removable masking tape can get it from bunnings.

The green tape from 3M   for anything painting or fiber glassing  comes off with nice straight edges and no undercoat or previous coats with it and also re sticks multiple times  for doing  flames  etc    fully tried and tested  total A1 Product highly recommended  Cool
