You can buy those little bottles at Big W or you used to be able to as they are used for some kitchen device to do with whipped cream or something like that. I also know another use for them but it wil get modded but kids use to buy them.

Lol yes I have that episode. along with many others.

NO2 can be purchased as mentioned above at many supermarkets in the form of "whipped cream bulbs" the same profile as soda stream cyllinders.

The idea being that NO2 will help to prevent the cream from going off while still giving it a whipped texture.

I have had a reasonable amount of experience building adaptors to suit these, and I find that if you can find the green ones, they have a far more reliable seal on the end. The unpainted ones tend to have a thinner seal and this form a less that optimum seal on the valve assembly.

What would be the recommended age for using micro-hybrids?

Will reserve that judgement till I see the consumer product safety testing suggesting that age group!

Anything that would be used by children would need to satisfy your consumer affairs branch it is safe! Would suggest the Manufacturer do the testing, then submit the results! Quite simple really! Say you have a C power micro - hybrid.

Under supervision you give some to 12 year olds who have never seen one and tell them to fly them and record the results! From my brief look at the micro - hybids they may be too complex for children!
