dazza made it home from toodyay with no headligts battery went flat and was forsed to drive with parkers on .luckerly i made it home a bit dark with parkers only.

i just had to retire the Richter Recker she had her last flight yesterday. I dont know how but this morning i went to take her out of the car and she was bent and crunched up in the upper section and the lower section is bent to.

just buy a new tube for and rebuild it

mate the upper section i could do that but the lower section has the engine mounts in it not sure if it would be worth it

just fixed me car luckerly it was just the batterey.

maybe i can redesign the ricter recker and make it take 4 motors.(mad scientisit talking is dazzas head) woo i have an idea i think the ricter recker may come back from the dead.......

i spent most of the day repairing my rockets. i was going to fix the warthog on site but decided not to good thing i didnt i just happened to pull on the other fins and 2 of them were broken not visable damage but itsb all fixed now. so is the interrogator spuing i lost the casing, expensive lesson learned. 

We might find the casing you will be surprised it might turn up a few months later, I sent the 2 girls to look for it during the day but to no avail. If the farmer finds it he will put it aside until we are next up there but if it was near where everyone got bogged it might be fossilised by now

i ordered the new air frame for the richter recker and i brought the leds for a night launch today.

you going to put a set of spot light on your rocket dazza

i actully thought about drilling a hole into the nose cone and putting a bulb on top, only problem is finding a clear pastic cap to protect it on landing.
i got some great ideas for putting leds on the fins but i would need to buy a new kit to make it work which i might still do

I have bought a few different things for night launching will post some pics when they arrive most run on the LR44 batteries (watch batteries) I dont think I am going to have time to set up the flashing led's I purchased months ago, works becoming hectic atm.

I run a hot bath and grab a beer man my legs kill me when i get home , i get out of the car and have to strech before i hobble to the front door.

That is proberly what everyone should do Dazza! I usually think about the burdomesome task of unloading the car!

First thing through the door is the toilet hehehehe then kids showered, fed then off to bed as they are usually falling asleep whilst trying to eat dinner.
 
Then come onto the forum and try and get some pics up, look at the video footage and think about how I am going to put it all together tomorrow or Tuesday.

at the moment i have time to leave that till the next day

I am heading for a nice hot shower shortly then get these aching bones into bed  
 
Kids usually have the following day off school if they are tired and ratty no point sending them to school and upsetting the class miss 12 ok but yer mr5 is a different story, but I let one stay home I gotta let both stay home.

just got home from ten pin bowling. we pkay every tuesday nite at morley. my wife had a great nite tonite she bowled a 257  for those who dont know a perfect game is 300 she droped 2 frames but spared them now you should hear her. i only bowled a 123..lol

Speaking of bowling...try getting a bowling ball, drill a hole for a launch lug, stick a motor in each finger hole and see how high it goes  . Don't ask why, I just have these strange ideas... Anyway, someone mentioned bowling ball lofting last launch and I think it'd be better without the rocket, just the ball with motors.

well i cant take over the world because there is no motors for me  i wanted some I245g i like them and the I200 i dont have my casing yet . DAM LRDS they should have put mor thought into and not inconvience me...lol but i suppose i could get some H268? i think it was for the jackhammer.

The motors would have to be posted as explosives 1.3 or 1.4 depending on size. As for them being on a plane that would be a big no I think you will find in the terms and conditions of your plane fare will explain what you can and cannot take on a plane with you.
 
Once you know your address up there post them to yourself you will just have to declare to Aust post what it is you are sending. You must never conceal rocket motors from anyone cause if you get caught it doesnt just affect you it will affect us all.

what is your roster dazza?  how many weeks on and how long off?

8 days on 6 off so it works like tyhis on thursday morning i fly out at 530am and the following thusday i fly back at 20:15

and it is with quantas so i can collect the frequent flier points.

PARC has a permit to allow them to fly in fire permit season so November we can get another launch in.

You could bring heaps of kits with you, to do the building when you're over there so you have something rocket related to do.
