Firstly, this is a bit of a borderline one, I have more video than I do pictures of this one, so heres ayoutube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4Su4ArsFp0 If anyone has a kit or knows where to get one, please let me know, this rocket is no longer, and it was my favorite. Oh, and observe my neice as the rocket launches, it was her first launch. :p |

Yes I had considered that. Found a slotted bt80 tube laying around, I might be able to make a clone, with a few mutations. |

http://www.dars.org/JimZ/estes/est1380.pdf the instructions that also list the part numbers if all else fails build it yourself
I made mine from these plans using a 60mm post-pak tube. It's ready to fly this Saturday (weather permitting) |

Would the post-pak tubing make it a bit heavier Kryten? The estes phoenix is also one of my favourites and is quite light wieght! They fly well on F24-7s provided the ejection charges work! |

Unfortunately, yes - using post-pak tubes will make it heavier. I added 25g of weight to the nosecone, and afetr painting, mine weighed around 280g without the motor. I flew it on a D12-3 on Saturday, and it was fine. Expected altitude is only around 200' - 250' It would hoot on a F24! |

Yes mine also suffered the fate of a long delay. Repaired and repaired.
Though it might get a rebuild, just got some body tubes in for it. |
