Following is the (currently) brief list of rockets we've got... more to come later!

I thought I'd put a couple of stats about the rockets up... if there's any other obvious, easily measurable statistics that are worth including, let me know

They call me Flinty... they call me Johnno... they call me Freddy... always the same...

that's not my name... that's not my name... that's not my name... that's not my name...

You put 2 lanch lugs on the scratch-built?
Small rockets only need one, mounted near the CG (centre of gravity)

really? jeez... thanks for the info

I guess i was just copying what i'd observed from the other estes rockets. The X-Ray, which I call a "pocket-rocket" has got a lug at the base and near the nose. On reflection... that may be a choice they've made to simplify the design. On the X-ray the top lug also serves to lock the shock cord down, and the bottom lug makes up part of the fin base.

Any info on the ideal dimensions of a single launch lug near the CG?

Jeebuz Wolf... is that the RipTide "front and centre" of your rocket fleet there? It's frikkin tiny compared to the rest! Or, in other words... omfg you have some massive HPRs!

Those kits are quite good Mr F. Next time you head to Adelaide sing out! Have quite a bit of gear you can have to help get your section going! Lots of tubes, nose cones and other usefull material.

Has anyone ever heard of the paperwork reduction act?
