Rocket launches are held from March to November approximately every 3 weeks. All flying days are on a Sunday and start at 10:00am until 5:00pm. These dates may change due to weather conditions. Please call Kevin on 9354-1673 or Phillip on mob: 0418 917 410 or ph: 9390 1497 (if you cannot reach Phil or Kevin on their mobiles on a launch day they are onsite in Toodyay) before you drive all the way out to Toodyay! You don't want to drive all the way out there to find out the launch has been cancelled! Please note there are no shops near by, so make sure you bring your own lunch and drinks. There is a porta potty at the site now. And please make sure you take your rubbish home with you (thanks!). Also there is now a $2 flying fee per launch (a days worth of launching - not per flight).
Last minute flight cancellations are posted at http://www.perthrocketclub.com click on the link for up to date information regarding launches
Guests, spectators and media are encouraged to attend all launches.
If the 1st launch date is cancelled due to weather it will automatically fall to the following weekend regardless of public holidays etc etc. If the rescheduled launch date is cancelled due to weather again then the next scheduled launch date on the calendar will take effect. If in doubt please contact a Committee Member.
2010 Launch dates are as follows; 21 March 25 July 11 April 15 August 2 May 5 September 23 May 24,25,26 27 Doomsday@Dowerin 13 June 17 October 4 July 7 November
From Perth, travel to Toodyay. Continue straight through Toodyay, towards Bolgart, along the Toodyay-BindiBindi Road, for approximately 15KM. Turn right at Chatcup Rd follow the road up and the field is just before Leeming Road on the right hand side. Follow the signs. REMEMBER TO CLOSE THE GATE AFTER YOU.

sorry guys all launches in March are off due to not enough rainfall at the site if there is enough rainfall in the next two weeks then a launch could be done as the rollover date but we thought it would just be best to start in April
and the fires that went through toodyay not long ago does make it hard and we have to think of community saftey at the end of the day
did anyone see page 9 in the sunday times? people are not going to toodyay because of the fires they had and the business are hurting. so we need to go up and launch soon so i can support the cola cafe for breaky.lol

I don't read the newspaper, when we were up at Toodyay the other day putting an offer in for the block of land main street was very quiet. We are doing our bit dealing with Toodyay real estate supporting locals.
Some people look at what IS and wonder why? I look at what COULD BE and wonder why not?
