Pretty much anything in the bag of motors you have stashed away for me Wolf

Will probably wheel the V-2 out for some 38mm launches like the H97 or H75J's.....im getting the feeling the little V2 was made for 38mm gear...

Hyperloc 300 on H123's looked really good last time so may give that a whirl again

And hopefully the new shiny Raptor with dual deploy (first time for me) on I161 and definitely a camera launch.

Testing the ejection wells today.....if i'm not back in 10 minutes....errm...

Might even ask the powers that be if i can do a level 2 exam in the next few weeks so i can blast off that J350 and get me some certification to fly some of those freebie J340M's that Gary has promised me.

Either way, sounds great.

I don't think I'll be coming. Can't afford to take money out of my savings for travelling to buy motors. So it looks like I might not be flying this year at all.

... On that subject, what happens to my Certification if I don't renew my club membership? When I renew next year, will I still be certified?

May need to check the delay on the H128 Hotspot. We had one pop the chute too early here in SA.

All up an excellent selection of motors to choose from on-site!

Damm they're good photos, Dogzilla!
From the quality I assume they are still camera photos and not video grabs.
How do you capture so many blast-offs with a still camera?
I keep getting empty launchpads!!
Any tips much appreciated...maybe start a new thread on photography?

Hey Goffa,
umm not much ermm...rocket science in it (ahem)...I have a Nikon D60 Digital SLR...on Sport shot mode i can ramp the shutter speed up to 1/4000 of a sec , anyways...i set it to multiple shot so when i press the trigger it takes maybe 3-4 shots before it's up in the sky....sometimes we get lucky and we get a good launch shot - i try and follow it up when it blasts off (holding the trigger down all the time so it's always taking shots)...and this is what we get.

I think it's actually more about timing....when you hear and see the first puff of smoke i'm usually about 1 second away from pressing the shutter..also depends if Dazza, Hotspot or Wolfair are launching stuff as they like the high impulse motors that are gone if you blink....

I'll probably use a tripod at next launch - mainly because i reckon i'll get a better shot at high speed if it's a little more stable.

Hope it helps,

Did anyone come across a red chute and about 10ft of kevlar cord cant seem to find it someone may have been thinking that the rocket and parts were trashed and grabbed it or I may have left it behind.
