XAVIEN is close to releasing their XAVIEN Multi-Function Timer, or XMFT-1 for short,

In the top picture, a K-350 Tribrid is ready for a static test, while the bottom photo shows a K-600 Tribrid doing a manufacture demo The "XMFT-1" incorporates all of the functionality of the "XSSET-1", "XSSRT-1", "XDSRT-1", "XCIC-1" and "XCET-1" in one unit. This will allow the user to purchase one timer to fill multiple roles on different projects.

The idea is to give the users a "mini" Swiss Army knife timer unit. The unit will be red, and the first batch of units will have "Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan 2009" printed on them as a commemorative mark.

The XMFT-1 is a G-switch, pull-pin activated two-stage pyrotechnic or event controller. The unit can be used for air-starting of motors, stage separation, booster seperation, parachute deployment and event staging.

It has adjustable timebase options allowing for either 1 second or 1 minute time bases for maximum flexibility. It uses high-current FET technology allowing miltiple e-matches and igniters to be used.
