Tonight we had a casual committee meeting and we discussed the following;

Rocket Launches

Membership currently headed towards 50 members

Advertising is being sorted more info to follow

$7000 grant being looked into and applied for.

Duties/jobs for committee members, tracker antena, trophies, grant info, permissions. Mike given the go ahead to purchase a club antena/receiver for trackers so there will be 2 in the club.

June 13th Launch - Mike setting up range any members willing to help he will be there at 8.30am. Nat and Phil be at range at 11.30 with cake for all who attend the launch. It is Mr soon to be 7 birthday.

Launch rails - club to purchase 2 new rails 10*10

Fundraising -  choccies and drinks all good and motor sales are adding to club funds. Club has a healthy bank balance

AGM set for 25th July at the launch if launch does not go ahead a bbq will be at Franks house.

Camping Launch at Dowerin at Easter discussed if members wish to do this then it will be a go, it will be an informal camping weekend with some rocket flying and members only. It will also be a weekend with more hands on rocketry ie learning reloads, electronics and various other types of workshops.
