Giant Leap Rocketry releases their new Magna-Frame

Giant Leap Rocketry, Inc. has just released its new Magna-Frame, a composite airframe of high-strength, grey vulcanized fiber interlaced with phenolic. There is a proprietary coating inside and out that seals out moisture. It is then high-temperature cured to create a high-strength composite structure.

Giant Leap Rocketry releases their new Magna-Frame. Magna-Frame uses a military-grade vulcanized fiber for extreme strength (you'll know because it is grey). Phenolic is resistant to moisture and pure vulcanized paper tubes. The propriety coating further ensures that the airframe stays straight. According to Giant Leap, Magna-Frame is a high-performance tube that is light, inexpensive and safe.

It was successfully tested at a velocity of about 2100 ft/sec (nearly Mach 2 — with higher speed tests to come). Magna-Frame is compatible with CA and epoxy adhesives. To learn more about Magna-Frame, log on to their website.

Website: http://www.giantleaprocketry.com/

29mm Complete set.....

Hi everyone,
i've recently graduated at rocket university to level 2, so i find myself using my 29mm system less and less, especially the lower power gear. Plus i've just ordered myself a 54/1706 motor!.

To that end, I've decided to sell my 29mm complete set. It includes the following:

29/60, 29/100, 29/120, 29/180, 29/240, 29/360, plus a forward and aft closure + a seal disc for the 360 casing.

It's a Great set, i've mainly used the 29/180 & 360 casings so the rest of the casings are brand new and untouched. I'll take some photos tonight. The closures have some dents from removal of the casing using pliers, but everything else is otherwise in great nick.

Normally this gear retails for ~+A$300 + postage from the US but i was considering something ~$250 for it. I also have one or two extra's to throw in.

Anyways, pm me if you are interested and we can have a chat.

Cheers

James

If your thinking of starting a rocketry vendor business a good tip is to read carefully all the forms you need for this. In some forms there are warnings designed to protect you from any future legal problems that may occur. If you choose to ignore these warnings this is done at your own peril.

We now have in Australia a growing list of vendors which is encouraged. However always remember whether your a small, medium or large rocketry vending business, no-one is above the law!
